Drawing from over a decade of public and private sector experience, Chaka lobbies on behalf of client matters before the state legislature, navigating both market and non-market interests to protect the value of the organizations she represents. Chaka graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Prior to joining Paganelli Law Group, Chaka was employed in municipal government and spent her early career in the private sector where she worked closely with federal agencies to overcome regulatory obstacles.
Chaka enjoys living in Carmel with her family, where she has served on both the Carmel Plan Commission and Mayor’s Advisory Commission on Human Relations. She is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association where she served on the organization’s Board of Directors and Commission on Racial Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. Chaka currently serves on the Board of the Bishop Joseph D. Farris Senior Living Center and is a member of the National Black Professional Lobbyist Association.
