Mr. Cunningham concentrates his practice in healthcare dispute resolution including trial practice, regulatory advocacy, and arbitration. He has tried and arbitrated numerous matters throughout the nation on behalf of healthcare providers. Mr. Cunningham is the Immediate Past Chair of the Indiana State Bar Association Diversity Committee and past chair of the Long-Term Care Subcommittee of the Health Section of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana. He is a certified arbitrator by the American Arbitration Association and the American Health Lawyers Association. Mr. Cunningham has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America (2016-present); Super Lawyers (2017- present); America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators (2018-present); and The National Black Lawyers Top 100. Mr. Cunningham is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association, DRI, and The National Bar Association. Mr. Cunningham achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in United States Air Force and Indiana Air National Guard where he retired 2010 after completing twenty-two years of service as a Medical Service Corps officer. He is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm (1990); Operation Noble Eagle (2001); Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003); and Joint Task Force Katrina (2005).
